Infant Crisis Services has an automatic feel of comfort when you walk in the door. There is playful, bright artwork all around the building. Every corner you turn has something new. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

Mobile in the playroom was made by the Junkyard Daddies.

Most of the artwork at Infant Crisis Services is done by local Oklahoma artists, but the cow is from California.

Monday's toddler is Jo Jo

Monday's baby of the day is actually a toddler. Pictured below is 24-month-old Jo Jo. He was all about having his picture taken and hamming it up in front of the camera, but right when the flash would go off he would stop smiling. Too bad because he had such an adorable smile you couldn't help but smile back.

Jo Jo enjoyed all areas of the playroom. He started off on the horses. Dragging them one by one until he found the perfect spot to hop on for a ride. He then moved to the kitchen were he snacked on toy apples, bananas and pears.

Monday's Baby Heaven

Heaven is not even 10 months old yet and she is already a pretty good walker. She still needs some assistance, but she is fast. She is going to keep her mommy on her toes before long.

"Help Another Mother" Diaper Drive Kickoff

Oklahoma metro are fire departments and Infant Crisis Services team up for "Help Another Mother" a diaper drive benefiting Infant Crisis Services. Drop off diapers at Oklahoma metro area fire departments May 17-May 31.

Metro fire departments: Oklahoma City, Edmond, Nichols Hills, The Village, Norman, Moore, Yukon, Del City, Midwest City, Guthrie, Choctaw, Warr Acres, El Reno, Bethany and Mustang

Some of the fire chiefs were brave enough to hold days old Heaven.

Firefighter represented 15 metro fire stations at the luncheon.

My-Keal was laughing the whole time! A future firefighter!

First moblie unit outing

There are really no words to explain the lose in Harrah from the tornado. It is great Infant Crisis Services can go to the people who have been hit with such devastation. The mobile unit is going to be a blessing for families who need formula, food and diapers for their babies. Even a package of wipes to clean their babies face. The mobile unit is really going to make a difference and help people who need have be hit with acts of nature.
